The Yorkshire Society under the Patronage of His Royal Highness The Duke of York, represents the Keith Madeleyvery best that Yorkshire has to offer for those living, working, visiting or investing  in the county, whilst also generating funds to directly 'plough back' into regional and local communities. The Yorkshire Society has something to offer all who join. I urge organisations and individuals alike to play your rightful part in Yorkshire's future development and success. Click here to view the Chairman's 2014 letter

Our Chairman, Keith Madeley, was one of 3 Guest Speakers at the Yorkshire Centuries Dinner held on Wednesday 22nd April at The Reform Club in London. He was joined by Jonathan Hick who gave some Yorkshire Poetry, Sir David Wootton whose theme was ‘From Bradford to Lord Mayor of London’ and Keith spoke about ‘Yorkshire Facts’. The adjacent limited edition print is to be auctioned at our Annual Dinner on 15/05/15 at The Leeds City Hilton Hotel.
It is a limited edition of 500, signed by Ashley Jackson, entitled Angry Sky of Farndale in North Yorkshire.
It is double mounted and the overall size, including the mount, is approx 32” x 25”.
The theme of this painting was one of survival; the wild unforgiving sky set against wet boggy moorland, the stark lonely tree still breathing life as sheep grazed, oblivious to another approaching storm - a humbling experience.
Anybody wishing to bid for this who will not be at the dinner is invited to contact Rod on 07970 640 463 or email
